About the Program

Cooking Skills. Family Meals. Real-World Confidence.

EverBeacon Foundation is developing a hands-on culinary education program where teenagers will learn how to safely prepare healthy, affordable, family-sized meals. At the end of each class, participants will take home the meal they prepared to share with their families.

Through cooking, mentorship, teamwork, and career exploration, the program will help young people develop practical life skills while providing a positive and productive environment outside of school.

Our Purpose

More Than a Cooking Class

The Teen Culinary & Family Table Program is designed to support both young people and their households. Participants will gain confidence and practical skills while preparing meals that can provide an immediate benefit to their families.

By creating a safe, structured, and encouraging place for teens to spend their time, EverBeacon also hopes to promote positive decision-making, reduce exposure to violence and unsafe activities, and connect participants with mentors and future career opportunities.
